This event will recognize the achievements of the diverse entrepreneurs in the larger Minnesota community and beyond.
Three presenters will highlight their journeys as they pursue their business vision through perseverance, overcoming hurdles, education, business formation, and relationship building.

Bhante Sathi left his native Sri Lanka as an ordained Buddhist monk in 1999. Using his Buddhist teachings, he has taught and counseled people in the principles of meditation and mindfulness throughout Asia, Europe, Canada, and the United States. He is the founder of Triple Gem of the North in Mankato and Metta Mediation Center at Lake Elysian.
Anna Lee immigrated from China to Canada in 1988 and to the United States in 1996. She is an active real estate investor who repositions and manages properties in Southern Minnesota through Lee Holdings, owned by her and her husband, Lawrence. Anna is a community leader who champions education and supportive housing projects. She is currently redeveloping West Hills Lodge, a former 25-unit group home in Owatonna.
Gauher "Mo" Mohammad grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1988. He worked for the second largest Minnesota-based staffing agency for nearly 20 years. In 2011-12, he also served as the president/CEO of the MN Recruiting and Staffing Association. Mo left that agency as V.P. in 2020 and launched Avimoe Workforce Consultants, a virtual HR outsourcing company with a focus on recruiting and retention strategies.
